Krafton, the developers of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), have announced a new upgrade for the month of May. According to Krafton, this is a “game-changing update unlike any other.” The official version of Livik, Core Circle mode, and other new features are included in the BGMI 2.0 version. To commemorate BGMI’s first anniversary in May, Krafton is releasing this important update.

Both Android and iOS smartphones will receive the new BGMI update today. Android users can look for the game in the Google Play Store. There’s an update option there. If you’re an Apple customer, go to the App Store and follow the similar steps.

The below is the update released schedule:

For iOS users – Friday, May 13 (Apple App Store) at 16:00

For Android users – AOS (Google PlayStore) : May 13 (Fri), 12:30 ~ 21:30

Even if you don’t manually update the game, you’ll be prompted to do so as soon as you start playing. Before proceeding to the matches, you must first download the update.

New Livik Map Areas

Players will see new themed regions, an all-terrain UTV, and a variety of new XT variant weapons. To win in the difficult terrain, according to Krafton, players will need to deploy superior tactics and techniques. New advanced supply zones will be introduced by Krafton. Players can sort through crates to stock up on supplies in these zones.

Gamers will have to navigate treasure maps to find rare materials and travel from one location to another using a brand new zipline.

Players can also earn more stuff by scoring goals on the newly added soccer pitch.

Core Circle Mode

The Core Circle mode, which was inspired by the popular Japanese animation  Evangelion, offers players new skins, awards, and progress-based bonuses. Battles between EVA-01 and EVANGELION’s 6th Angel may be observed in Erangel, and the new mode mechanism can be experienced in Erangel and Livik. Players can access the theme through in-game discovery events, and those who participate after May 14th will earn additional progress benefits.

Classic Mode

When players in Erangel and Miramar find themselves outside of the play zone, they can request an emergency pickup, which will return them to the centre of the play zone. With the help of the Revival Tower, gamers can also bring back fallen teammates.

The upgraded version of BGMI, according to Krafton, includes various enhancements to controls, such as improved haptic feedback, sponsorship match feature support, and the addition of a like button to spectator mode to encourage more immersive gameplay. The game will feature a first-anniversary lobby with in-game items and a skin sale for players as part of update 2.0, which also marks BGMI’s long-awaited first anniversary.
